Business Development & Marketing Executive The Opportunity Abacus is working with a well-established financial organisation as they wish to recruit a Business Development & Marketing Executive.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong local presence and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in driving growth, increasing brand visibility and building meaningful relationships across the community.

You will actively support the BD Manager to drive growth, build membership engagement and develop partnerships with corporates and the community.

Role Summary This role offers strong and exciting mix of responsibilities.

You will take ownership of a broad range of marketing and business development activities, supporting both strategic growth and community engagement.

Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, website and online channels e. g.

Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram and Linkedin.

Creating engaging, on-brand content to promote services and initiatives.

Monitoring campaign performance and providing insights to improve results.

Developing and manage partnerships with local businesses, organisations and community groups.

Representing the organisation at networking events, meetings and community initiatives.

Building strong relationships with schools and educational partners to support financial education initiatives.

Managing sponsorship and community engagement activity.

The Person This is a new role and will suit a person that is outgoing, approachable, relatable but also is full of ideas, solutions and energy.

We are keen to speak with candidates who: Offer at least one year experience of both business development and marketing and/or communications.

Experience of managing marketing campaigns (e. g. billboards, radio ads etc) is an advantage.

Note, this is not a cold-calling or KPI-driven BD role.

It is more consultative and focused on long term commercial partnerships.

Possess strong digital marketing skills across multiple platforms.

Experience of data analysis, reports and visualisation is an advantage.

Is a confident communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships, visit corporate and community organisations and be relatable to people at varied levels, both professionally and personally.

Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects effectively.

Offer a commercial mindset combined with a genuine interest in community engagement.

Are proactive, self-motivated and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
