Overview
In this senior role, you will lead and grow a banking and finance practice within a top NI firm. You will work with lenders and borrowers, handling secured and unsecured lending, asset finance, and regulatory matters, while co-counseling on UK facilities. You’ll drive growth, mentor people, and strengthen client relationships in a 변across-borders context. This is a high-impact, leadership-focused opportunity at a well-established firm with a broad financial services practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the banking and finance practice within the firm
- Advise on secured/unsecured lending, asset acquisition finance and regulatory matters
- Oversee securitisation of receivables portfolios
- Manage debt and business restructuring, insolvency litigation, and related advisory work
- Provide NI law expertise on larger UK facilities as co-counsel to English firms
- Develop people and win new work through strong market relationships with lenders and borrowers
Key requirements
- Substantial banking and finance experience at senior associate level or above
- Qualified in NI, or in E&W / ROI with a view to practising in NI
- Strong market profile and established relationships with lenders and borrowers
