You’ll lead engagements across multiple sectors, manage client relationships and play an important role in developing the wider audit team.

- Minimum 5 years’ PQE in audit within an accountancy practice required
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take a leading role across a varied audit portfolio while remaining close to clients and your team. Alongside core audit delivery, you’ll also have exposure to advisory projects covering internal controls reviews, due diligence and technical accounting matters.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead audit engagements for clients across multiple sectors
- Plan assignments, identify key risks and ensure compliance with auditing standards
- Review audit files, financial statements and supporting documentation
- Supervise, train and review the work of audit staff
- Act as a key client contact throughout the audit process
- Support workflow planning, team organisation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to advisory projects including due diligence, internal controls and technical accounting matters
What We’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE in audit within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks, including FRS 102 – IFRS knowledge advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MyWorkPapers or similar audit software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively
