Responsibilities
- Managing and reviewing a varied portfolio of private client tax compliance work
- Reviewing complex Self‑Assessment Tax Returns and ensuring technical accuracy
- Building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional client service
- Identifying planning opportunities and supporting wider advisory projects
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members
- Supporting senior leadership on technical and strategic assignments
- Assisting with business development initiatives and client growth opportunities
- Managing billing processes and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently

Requirements
- Previous experience in Private Client Tax within a professional services environment
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance
- Experience reviewing complex Self‑Assessment Tax Returns
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and budgets
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Commercial awareness and a client‑focused approach
- Confidence building relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Ability to identify risks and to raise them appropriately when required
Preferred Qualifications
- CTA qualified
- ATT, ACA, CA or ACCA qualified with relevant tax experience
- Demonstrable management experience within a Private Client Tax environment
