We’re looking for a forward-thinking, energetic Senior Accountant who’s keen to excel in a fast-paced, varied role working with clients across multiple sectors. All firms are NOT the same! Join a firm where work-life balance is not an aspiration but a cultural commitment.
What you’ll do:
- Supervise & prepare year-end accounts (Ltd Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships)
- Prepare tax computations & returns (tax experience not essential)
- Get involved in ad-hoc projects – client transactions, M&A, raising finance
- Train, mentor & oversee junior team members
- Support team management with workflow & priorities
- Build strong client relationships
What we’re looking for:
- ACCA or ACA qualified (min. 1 year PQE in practice)
- Audit experience – a bonus
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with Xero/QuickBooks (or similar)
- Strong IT skills incl. Excel & Word
