The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Abacus is working with an excellent practice in Derry who wish to hire a Residential Property solicitor. You will join an established and expanding team in the North West who offer excellent leadership, a strong client base, a supportive culture, an attractive office and career progression.

You will manage a busy residential conveyancing desk and if you have the skills or interest you will access some private client files.

Conveyancing workload involves:

  • Handling property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Managing sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and land registrations
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors
  • Fulfil legal and compliance requirements.

Probate / Private Client workstream includes:

  • Drafting wills and trusts
  • Administering estates
  • Advising on wills, POA and inheritance planning.

The firm is keen to attract:

  • Solicitor with min 18 months PQE and further experience is welcomed
  • Knowledge and experience of private client files is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Positive attitude to learn and develop
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
