Abacus is closely working with a prestigious and highly regarded legal practice based in Belfast. We aim to hire a talented property solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ post‑qualification experience to join their dynamic Real Estate team.
About the Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in a team known for its expertise, client service, and collaborative ethos. You will join a healthy and broad team, with superb partners leading the way. You will manage a broad range of high‑quality real estate matters, including:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Development projects (residential, commercial, and mixed‑use)
- Property finance and refinancing
- Real estate aspects of corporate transactions
Clients range from major national and international businesses to local developers, investors, and public sector bodies.
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor (4+ years PQE) with a strong background in real estate law.
- NI qualified and dual (ROI/E&W) is a bonus.
- The higher the PQE the better, a business case can be developed.
- Commercial awareness and a client‑focused approach.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A proactive, team‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage matters independently.
