Solicitor – Motor Team, Belfast
The Opportunity
Abacus is delighted to be partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit a Solicitor for their high‑performing Motor team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with major insurers and well‑known corporate clients, handling a broad mix of motor injury, credit hire and damage claims. You’ll join a collaborative, forward‑thinking team with exposure to complex litigation and the chance to develop your expertise in a supportive environment.
Role Summary
You will manage and assist on a varied caseload, including both pre‑litigated and litigated matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling motor injury, credit hire and damage claims from start to finish
- Managing cases where liability is disputed, including court involvement
- Delivering against financial and performance targets
- Supporting client relationships, training and business development activity
- Ensuring high standards of file management, reporting and compliance
- Continuously developing your technical knowledge and expertise.
The Person
We’re keen to speak with Newly/Recently qualified Solicitors who:
- Have experience (or a strong interest) in motor litigation, credit hire or personal injury
- Take a commercial, solution‑focused approach to legal work
- Are confident communicators with strong attention to detail
- Can manage their own caseload effectively while working as part of a team
- Are motivated, organised and eager to progress their career.
