If you’re a dual-qualified Corporate Solicitor looking for better work, better balance, and a stronger long‑term platform — this is worth a look. We’re working with a top Belfast firm that continues to win high-quality corporate work across M&A, investments, and complex transactions. They’re growing their team and want ambitious lawyers who want exposure, responsibility, and progression — without the burnout.

Role

You’ll work on a steady flow of corporate transactions, including M&A deals, restructures, and investment work across a broad client base. This isn’t a “back‑office” role — you’ll be client-facing, involved in negotiations, and trusted to run with matters as your experience grows. You’ll work closely with experienced partners on complex deals, giving you the chance to sharpen both your technical and commercial skillset quickly. There’s real variety here — from owner‑managed businesses to larger cross‑border transactions — keeping the work interesting and career‑building.

Requirements

You’ll be dual qualified (NI and England & Wales or ROI) with at least 1 year PQE in corporate law. All higher levels of PQE will be considered. Strong technical grounding is important, but equally you’ll need a commercial mindset — someone who understands how deals work in practice, not just on paper. You should be confident dealing with clients and keen to take on responsibility early. If you’re driven, switched‑on, and looking to accelerate your career in a supportive but high‑performing environment, you’ll fit well here.

Rewards

Highly competitive salary and benefits package — aligned with the top of the Belfast market. Consistent, high-quality deal flow without the long‑hours culture you might expect elsewhere. Clear progression and a genuinely strong working culture where people stay and build careers.
