About the Firm
Our client is a well-established law firm with multiple regional offices across Northern Ireland. They offer an excellent reputation for delivering professional, personable legal services to individuals and businesses alike. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing and Probate Solicitor to join their team.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing and private client work to manage a busy and varied caseload. You’ll work closely with clients, estate agents, and financial institutions to ensure a smooth, efficient service from start to finish. There is flexibility in that if you prefer to focus more on one area than the other, this is still an option for the firm, but ideally a blended approach is perfect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Handling a range of probate and estate administration matters, including drafting wills and powers of attorney. This includes some high value assets and estates along with IHT issues.
- Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients while maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Managing files from instruction to completion with minimal supervision.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
Suitable for
- Qualified Solicitor (NI or equivalent jurisdiction).
- Minimum of 1 year PQE in conveyancing and/or probate (more experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply). More experience is a bonus.
- Strong technical knowledge of property and private client law.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and client care skills.
- Experience with case management systems.
- As there is an extensive line of work, business development is not a core requirement.
