Abacus is partnering with a major law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer with knowledge and expertise within the energy sector. The role offers a key leadership position in advising clients on property matters, particularly focusing on energy and infrastructure for clean energy and renewable projects.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on the development and construction of major energy and infrastructure projects at local, national, and international levels, including onshore, offshore, EV, road, rail, airports, and more.
- Lead a team to draft and negotiate complex commercial property agreements such as acquisitions, disposals, leases, financings, and joint ventures.
- Support and manage the legal team, overseeing their work to ensure alignment with client demands.
Qualifications:
- Partner level or below with a track record aiming to achieve partner status.
- Depth of PQE in commercial property law at a reputable law practice or in-house legal team.
- Strong understanding of commercial property transactions, including energy and infrastructure experience, with particular exposure to clean energy and renewable projects.
- Experience in jurisdictions across NI, ROI, Scotland, England & Wales.
