Abacus is delighted to be partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an experienced Paralegal for their high‑performing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with major insurers and well‑known corporate clients, supporting on a broad mix of motor injury, credit hire and damage claims. You’ll join a collaborative, forward‑thinking team with exposure to complex litigation and the chance to further develop your legal expertise in a supportive environment.
Role Summary
You will support and manage aspects of a varied caseload, including both pre‑litigated and litigated matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with and progressing motor injury, credit hire and damage claims
- Supporting on cases where liability is disputed, including preparation for court and counsel
- Managing elements of your own caseload under supervision
- Supporting client relationships, reporting and administrative requirements
- Ensuring high standards of file management, accuracy and compliance
- Continuously developing your technical knowledge and litigation skills.
The Person
We’re keen to speak with Paralegals who:
- Have experience (or a strong interest) in motor litigation, credit hire or personal injury
- Are commercially aware with a proactive and solution‑focused approach
- Are confident communicators with strong attention to detail
- Can manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Are motivated, organised and eager to progress within a legal career
