Abacus is working with an excellent practice in Derry who wish to hire a Residential Property solicitor. You will join an established and expanding team in the North West who offer excellent leadership, a strong client base, a supportive culture, an attractive office and career progression.
Responsibilities
- You will manage a busy residential conveyancing desk and if you have the skills or interest you will access some private client files.
- Handling property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Managing sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and land registrations.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors.
- Fulfil legal and compliance requirements.
- Private Client / Probate workstream.
- Drafting wills and trusts.
- Administering estates.
- Advising on wills, POA and inheritance planning.
Requirements
- Solicitor with min 18 months PQE and further experience is welcomed.
- Knowledge and experience of private client files is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and client care abilities.
- Positive attitude to learn and develop.
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
