We are delighted to be working with a highly successful 2 Partner accountancy firm based in South Belfast. Due to the strong reputation for excellence in technical advice, high quality work and personable staff, in recent years this firm has undergone huge growth. As such, they are now seeking to bring in an experienced Accounts Technician to their busy team.
We are seeking a professional candidate with 2+ years experience in a busy practice role, qualified as or working towards Accounting Technician qualification. Salary is negotiable on experience but will be above market averages. Significant benefits are also available including on-site free parking, life, health, etc plus an early finish on Friday. Progression and support with CAI studies is available to the successful candidate that has already gained IATI qualification.
You will provide key support to the accountants and partners of the business, while gaining exposure to clients in a broad range of industries and business types.
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent communication skills, able to build good working relationships
- Experience in accounts preparation, general bookkeeping, HMRC returns and tax computations
- Keen attention to detail, delivering high quality work in a timely manner
- Strong organisational skills to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
- Continuous improvement mindset, keeping your skills and knowledge up to date while also suggesting business and process improvements where necessary
