We are looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial UK to take commercial ownership of our UK medicines portfolio and play a key role in shaping and delivering our UK commercial agenda. In this role, you will lead and develop a Copenhagen‑based team of Portfolio Management Specialists and Portfolio Development Analysts, setting direction, ensuring strong portfolio governance, and enabling high‑quality decision support. You will drive portfolio performance and NHS hospital medicines tenders end‑to‑end, developing pricing strategies, leading complex tender processes, and making clear commercial recommendations within an established governance framework. This role combines hands‑on commercial responsibility with people leadership and close collaboration across the UK and HQ in Copenhagen.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading commercial assessment and prioritisation of UK portfolio opportunities
  • Developing robust commercial cases to support decision‑making
  • Managing commercial performance, forecasting, and portfolio insight
  • Leading and developing a UK commercial team, setting direction and standards
  • Acting as the senior commercial representative for portfolio and tender matters in UK leadership discussions
  • Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and HQ teams

Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a regulated environment
  • Practical experience leading or significantly contributing to NHS hospital medicines tenders
  • Solid financial and analytical capability, with confidence in pricing and margin assessment
  • Experience leading others and taking accountability for outputs
  • Sound commercial judgement and comfort making recommendations in complex situations
  • Clear communicator, able to work credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Fluency in English

This is a remote role based within the Midlands, to enable occasional in‑person team gatherings.
