Overview
Role: Accountant Technical and Corporate Reporting. Employer: Wyre Council. Location: Poulton-Le-Fylde (Civic Centre). Hybrid working is available with a minimum of 60% of your time office-based. Contract: Permanent; Working pattern: Full Time; Hours: 37 per week; Salary: Β£39,862 – Β£42,839; DBS Check: No; Closing Date: 28/09/2025 at 23:59.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual accounts closure process.
- Oversee the collection fund accounting.
- Complete periodic corporate reporting.
- Work with the Financial Services Manager in the continuous improvement of financial management information and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of statutory financial reporting requirements and financial regulations.
- Experience of local authority financial accounting (preferred but not essential).
