Finance Manager - SME finance/office management - Northampton - £38,000-£42,000 Locally based business established nearly 40 years ago are looking to appoint a Finance Manager. This role will be instrumental in keeping the finance function of the business running smoothly, whilst supporting 2 finance team members. Your duties as the Finance Manager will include: * Managing, mentoring, and developing finance staff – accounts payable and receivable * Running payroll for five entities, c84 staff and handling month end journals using Sage payroll * Quarterly VAT returns * Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries * Support budgeting and forecasting processes, liaising with budget holders to provide financial insight * Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met * Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies * Executing bank reconciliations, intercompany and supplier payments * Supporting the CFO with the day to day running of the financial functions If you are available on short notice and are looking for the next step up in your career, this is the role for you!
