Abacus is keen to hire a Paralegal to join the Property team of one of the leading law firms in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both commercial and residential property transactions within a supportive and professional environment.

About the Client: This practice has an excellent reputation with some excellent clients and continues to grow. Their property team of qualified solicitors continues to grow due to work pressures and client satisfaction across commercial and residential property demands. They are keen to secure additional resources by appointing a Paralegal for the Property team.

About the Role: As a Paralegal in the Property team, you will support the team of solicitors in managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and completion of contracts, leases, and legal documentation.
  • Conducting title checks, searches, and due diligence.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Preparing completion statements and handling post-completion tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files.

You and the team will work with a variety of high-quality clients with varied property demands. They will represent many sectors and industries therefore an adaptability to work fast and smart will help you to stand out.

Who we are looking for: A law degree and minimum 12 months experience as a Paralegal (Legal Professional, Legal Executive). Offering some experience of working in a property team is a strong advantage. A professional with high levels of integrity, resilience, and diplomacy and very eager to learn and think quickly. Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
