Due to continued success and growth of our professional services client, they are seeking to appoint two new roles for Management Accountant. Since setting up in Belfast 5 years ago, this business has had a massively positive experience hiring from the local marketplace. As such, they are seeking to once again add to their team.

These new hires will join the Accounting and Financial Reporting Team of 12 and 170 other colleagues at the Belfast site. This is an ideal time for a recently qualified Accountant to join a growing business and take on a key role.

The main responsibilities will be assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, reconciliations of control accounts, regulatory financial requirements such as VAT returns and surveys, continued development of financial reporting and preparation of the firm's statutory accounts and supporting schedules ready for the annual audit.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working as a Management Accountant producing Consolidated Management Accounts and monthly financial reporting.
  • Professional services experience would be preferable but is not a pre-requisite.
  • Must be a qualified accountant either ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel including use of macros) and good exposure to IT finance systems.
  • Excellent planning and organising skills able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Numerate and Pro-active mentality.
  • Takes personal responsibility for maintaining personal development.
  • Displays a willingness to learn and actively seeks new work and challenges.
  • Professional and credible in attitude and appearance.
