We’re looking for an IT Cloud Platform Engineer to drive innovation, scalability, and resilience across our cloud and on‑premise environments. If you’re passionate about Azure, automation, and building secure, high‑performing infrastructure, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and enhance the firm’s Azure cloud services and VMware Broadcom environments across all Data Centres and offices.
- Work closely with development and product teams to architect, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud solutions.
- Design cloud architectures focused on security, performance, and scalability.
- Lead on vulnerability management and remediation.
- Maintain and support the Windows Server estate (2016–2022).
- Oversee core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificates, and more.
- Proactively monitor systems and ensure robust BCDR, backup, and patching practices.
- Build and deploy Windows Server infrastructure along with SaaS/PaaS solutions.
- Manage MDM platforms and provide advanced technical support to internal teams.
- Liaise with vendors and external partners to optimise service delivery.
- Participate in an Out‑of‑Hours rota to respond to urgent alerts and escalations.
- Support and manage the firm’s Microsoft Dynamics AX environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive hands‑on experience with Azure, Entra ID, and cloud security best practices.
- A background in Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or DevOps.
- Coding/scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Deep experience in vulnerability management and Data Centre server operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016–2022) and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and modern cloud technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset and excellent time‑management skills.
- Knowledge of CIS, ISO27001, cybersecurity tooling, and ITIL processes.
You’ll excel even more if you have:
- Experience with Terraform, AKS, Azure Functions.
- F5 or equivalent load balancing experience.
- Firewall/Switch/Router configuration experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Experience supporting systems within the Legal sector.
