Banking & Finance Legal Director / Partner – Senior Appointment – Belfast
A senior banking appointment at a top-tier Northern Ireland firm, at Legal Director or Partner level.
Our client advises lenders and borrowers alike and works with all the major banks and financial institutions in NI. It's now seeking an experienced banking lawyer to help lead and grow the practice.
The practice covers:
- Secured and unsecured lending, and asset acquisition finance
- Regulatory matters and standard documentation reviews
- Securitisation of receivables portfolios
- Debt and business restructuring, recoveries, fixed charge receivership and insolvency litigation
- NI law aspects of larger UK facilities, as co-counsel to leading English firms.
The person:
- Substantial banking and finance experience at senior associate level or above
- Qualified in NI, or in E&W / ROI with a view to practising in NI
- A strong market profile and established relationships with lenders and borrowers
- The leadership to develop people and win work.
