Shifts Available: Saturday 9.30am til 9:30am Monday, every other weekend.

Job Description:

We are looking for a live in care assistant in Welshpool, for a lady who also has a young son who has autism. You will be required as part of the role, to assist with the son and take him to school. The successful candidate will be required to use the service user’s car; only candidates over the age of 25 will be permitted to drive due to insurance policy.

Our live-in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day-to-day companionship, personal care, assist clients with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework. We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with your private room and have adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different, and you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter.

Qualifications:

You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
