This is a voluntary, remote role focused on helping Afghan girls access Bachelor's and Master's scholarships in the United Kingdom.
About the Role: As an Educational Mentor for the UK, you will guide participants through the process of finding, applying for, and securing UK-based scholarships, while introducing them to the UK's higher education system.

- Commitment: 5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Research & Guidance: Research UK-based scholarships (e.g., Chevening, Commonwealth, GREAT Scholarships, university-specific awards). Provide clear, structured guidance on eligibility, application requirements, and deadlines.
- Webinars & Mentorship: Conduct four online webinars over two months, focusing on UK universities and scholarship pathways. Offer one-on-one or group mentorship to help participants strengthen their applications.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Coordinate with the GPG team to align mentorship content and goals. Submit weekly updates on mentorship activities and participant engagement.
Eligibility:
- Education: Current student or graduate of a UK university.
- Experience: Must have received or currently hold a scholarship to study in the UK (e.g., Chevening, Commonwealth, university-funded).
- Skills: Strong communication, research, and presentation skills.
- Technical Requirements: Access to a reliable internet connection and a computer for hosting webinars.
