Commercial Air Conditioning Service Engineer, with a path to Service Lead AB-Zero Air Conditioning Ltd | Based in Pitsea, Essex | Covering Essex, London and the M25 Salary: £45000, £55000 depending on experience, plus company van, pension and the usual benefits About us AB-Zero is an established commercial air conditioning contractor We install, commission and maintain VRF and split systems for offices, schools, restaurants and commercial clients across London and the South East. We're F-Gas/REFCOM accredited and have a strong record on projects for clients The opportunity We're launching a dedicated service and maintenance division, and we're looking for the engineer who will grow with it. You'll start hands-on, carrying out PPM visits and reactive call-outs across our client sites. As the division grows, you'll step up to lead it: running a team of service engineers, planning the diary and becoming the face of our maintenance work. This is a chance to build something from the ground up, not just fill a vacancy. What you'll do Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial AC systems, including cleaning, filter changes and F-Gas leak checks Diagnose and repair faults on VRF, VRV and split systems Respond to service call-outs and keep clients informed Complete clear service reports and F-Gas records after every visit Support commissioning and validation work when needed In time, lead and schedule a team of service engineers What we're looking for F-Gas Category 1 certification A full UK driving licence Solid experience servicing and fault-finding on commercial systems (Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Samsung experience a plus) Confidence dealing directly with clients and facilities managers Organised, reliable and proud of the quality of your work The ambition to step into a leadership role What you'll get Company van Pension and the usual benefits A clear route to Service Lead as the division grows Variety, with different sites and challenges rather than one job for months A growing company where your input shapes how things are done To apply Send your CV to or call (phone number removed) for an informal chat
