Our prestigious and newly opened Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift: Working 45 hours Mon-Fri on an alternating shift pattern of 07.00 - 16.30 and 08.30 - 18.00 with alternate Saturday mornings. Paying c£45,000 dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience. Flexibility will be required.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:- Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
- Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc
- Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
- Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately
- Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
- Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
