What you will do:

  • Attraction Bonus £2000 for direct applicants only (non agency).
  • An experienced and qualified (level 3) Van Technician is required to work at one of our customers' sites (Reading Borough Council) to provide a dedicated and professional service.
  • Working 40 hours between on earlies: 06.00-14.30 and Saturdays 06.00-12.00 when required.
  • Paying to £21.00 per hour for a 40 hour week plus overtime at time and a half and for any required Saturday mornings.

Duties:

  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Renault Standard Times using Renault Special Tools where appropriate.
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
  • Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
  • Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.

Required knowledge & experience:

  • LCV Technician - City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent.
  • Completed an apprenticeship in LCV / HGV industry or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within the commercial vehicle industry - Vans.
