What you will do
Parts Advisor – Chiltern Dealership in Dunstable
Working within Renault Trucks, you will be part of a team developing and sustaining superior performance in parts with face-to-face customer liaison.
Mon-Fri, 44 hours. Mon-Thursday – two-week rotation 06:00 – 16:00 and 08:00 – 18:00. Fridays will finish 1 hour earlier on each shift pattern, with alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half – moving to 1 in 3.
Paying £35,000 DOE and a full UK driving licence is required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Front of House counter sales and dealing with customer parts queries.
- Ensure customer orders are taken and supplied to the correct specification.
- Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt.
- Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system.
- Keep the parts area clean and tidy, and ensure equipment is in good condition, reflecting the image of an efficient and modern Retail Dealer point.
- Ensure the Dealer point complies with the Company Health and Safety policy.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
General Duties:
- Work with the team to ensure a strong top team ethos.
- Support the development of character, skills, attitude, and superior individual and team performance.
- Conduct yourself in a business-like and professional manner.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and professional Service and Parts area.
- Attend any training or development activities provided.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal.
- Develop or work on developing new or enhancing existing processes.
- Adapt and take on new skills and approaches.
- Use GDS and associated software & systems competently.
- Use desktop PC and software efficiently.
- 25 days holiday, rising with service.
