- Qualified HGV Technician holds NVQ! Level 3 in HGV – apprenticeship or City & Guilds, with proven hands-on workshop experience.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and coach others.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Organised and proactive approach, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do
The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
