As part of our team at Volvo you will work as part of an experienced and friendly team with the offer of a fantastic basic salary plus the opportunity for overtime and a quarterly bonus.

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?

What you will do

The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process
  • Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns.
  • Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
  • Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
  • Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintained
  • Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
