As part of our team at Volvo, you will work a 38-hour week, earning up to £20 per hour with overtime, a quarterly bonus, and excellent earning potential.
Shift Pattern on a rotational basis:
- Week 1 Days: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 15:15 | Friday 07:00 - 14:30
- Week 2 Backshift: Monday - Thursday 13:00 - 21:30 | Friday 12:30 - 19:00
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs, or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assisting in the fault diagnosis process
- Servicing customer vehicles and completing service sheets
- Road testing vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assisting with roadside breakdowns
- Processing all relevant paperwork accurately
- Reporting all vehicle defects
- Maintaining workshop facilities, equipment, and tools
- Supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
