About the role
Volvo isseekingan experienced and motivated Mobile HGV/PSV Technician to join our Service Market Team. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines technicalexpertise, customersupportand nationwide travel.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out pre delivery inspectins (PDIs) in accordance with Volvo standards
- Diagnose, repair and maintain HGV & PSV vehicles
- Provide technical support and guidance to Volvo dealerships and and service partners
- Conduct technical investigations and support field based rectification activities
- Prepare and inspect used vehicles to ensure they meet Volvo quality standards
- Install additional vehicle equipment, including CCTV systems, USB charging points and vehicle monitors
About you
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience within the HGV or PSV industry.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
A full UK driving licence (PSV licence desirable but not essential).
