Volvo Trucks is looking for a Service Driver/Yardman to join our dedicated team and help ensure the seamless flow of vehicles and operations.
Qualifications- Hold a LGV Class 1 driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar yard or workshop support role
- Good understanding of vehicle handling and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- To carry out driving duties as instructed by the Service Controller, to include presentation of vehicles for MOT including a full range of HGV including loaded trailers, LGV, PSV and both customer owned, service and sales vehicles requiring collection and delivery, road test following repair.
- To ensure the service department, workshop facilities and yard areas are kept clean and tidy to the audit standards required, and other areas as and when instructed.
- Support the workshop with ad-hoc duties as required to include, cleaning of workshop areas, washing of vehicles, ensuring workshop area is kept tidy and bins cleared on a daily basis.
