At Renault Truck Commercials, we are driving forward and creating opportunities to meet demand for our new ranges of trucks and vans. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Business Development Manager (HGV Trucks and LCV Vans) to join our team. This pivotal role involves identifying new business opportunities for both Service and Parts operations, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for achieving targets to grow business with existing customers and improve customer care standards in collaboration with departmental heads. We also seek expertise in developing new business with both franchised and all-makes product customers.

This position will be based in Tipton to cover surrounding dealership service areas in the West Midlands. Paying £35,000 up to £37,000 (DOE), plus commission, company car and a full range of benefits can be viewed in the video link below.

General:
  • Business development in the West Midlands for Service and Parts contracts on new vehicle sales, trailers and truck renewals
  • Hold regular development and review meetings with key customer accounts
  • Agree KPI and targets with the Regional Parts Manager
What you will bring:
  • Appropriate experience in a commercial vehicles sales environment, including knowledge of the UK truck market
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and IT savvy to pick up in-house systems
  • Evidence of sales negotiation skills
  • Numerical awareness
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
