Our client, a hotel on the outskirts of Evesham, who use fresh local ingredients and make regular menu updates, are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join their team!

As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items under the supervision of the Head Chef. This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to consistently deliver exceptional dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the Head Chef's recipes and standards.
  • Assist with menu development and implementation, keeping up with current food trends and incorporating local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation, always adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food service to our guests.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold our standards of excellence.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, upcoming events, and new ideas.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including those for food quality and sanitation.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • A passion for creating delicious, high-quality food with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible schedule.
