CNC Machinist

Patchway
Monday - Friday - 06:00-14:00 --- 14:00-22:00
Roles and responsibilities to include:
- Setting up and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring a “Right First Time” approach to all tasks.
- Selecting appropriate tooling.
- Collaborating with the quality team to ensure part conformity and traceability.
- Communicating equipment needs with Engineering & Quality managers.
We are looking for specific experience for this role:
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating CNC machinery
- Setting and operating CNC machines - preferably CNC Milling machines
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Experience of 3 axis milling machining centres preferable but not essential
- Ability to edit CNC programmes to suit need if required
- Fanuc experience preferable but not essential
- Skilled in using measuring tools - Mainly Vernier calipers
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
