Role Purpose
As an Assistant Accountant, you will assist the Management Accountant in the production of accounts.
Your key responsibilities as our Assistant Accountant will include:
- Keeping and reconciling cashbook, cash sales ledger & asset register.
- Maintaining up-to-date reconciliations of nominal ledger accounts.
- Assisting the Management Accountant in the production & maintenance of the accounts.
- Ensuring that the company procedures are followed by staff and suppliers and that continuing improvements are made.
- Assisting with the audit process.
- Raising payments on our banking software for approval.
- Performing other tasks which may be required to be undertaken by the Finance department.
Experience Required
- AAT Level 4 or qualified by experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including vlookups & pivot tables)
