Role Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Insurance operations, this is a hands-on role with an exciting new insurance tech company that is looking to revolutionise the outdated car insurance model. There is a growing need as volumes start to increase for a Customer Service Support person to assist the Head of Insurance Operations in answering live chat queries and helping with the smooth running of the business.
- Responding to and engaging with customers via βlive chatβ
- Responding to and managing email enquiries
- Reviewing and responding to customer reviews where appropriate
- Production of MI reports from various sources on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Cancellation and refunds of premium
- Processing of midterm adjustments
- Liaison with insurer and ancillary add on product providers
- Attendance at physical and virtual meetings encompassing the wider business
- Use of various software systems
- Undertaking regular competitor analysis to help ensure pricing remains competitive
Experience Required
Previous experience within a motor insurance role is advantageous along with the ability to work on your own initiative. Excellent organisational skills are a must along with good written and verbal communication. A good knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and related products is required.
