We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial gas systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations. This role will include a lot of travelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on commercial gas systems & plumbing systems, including boilers, water heaters, and pipework, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair gas system issues promptly, minimising downtime for clients. Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems efficiently.
  • Install, commission, and upgrade commercial gas systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and relevant codes and standards.
  • Ensure all gas systems comply with current regulations and safety standards. Conduct safety checks, leak tests, and emissions tests as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain service requirements and address any questions or concerns.
  • Respond promptly to reactive emergency service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Knowledge and experience working on commercial plumbing systems
  • Gas Safe registered and relevant certifications
  • Strong knowledge of commercial gas systems, equipment, and controls
  • Proficient in reading technical diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
