AB Mauri is a global family of yeast and bakery ingredients companies operating in all parts of the world as a division of Associated British Foods plc. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. This role will be a hybrid, multi-site role covering Northampton and Corby.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor the financial development of the business and proactively identify and initiate areas for improvement.
  • Providing high-quality reporting and insightful analysis to inform decision making.
  • Proactively promote and drive business value adding activities within the team.
  • Central actor in commercial budgeting and forecasting.
  • To become embedded within the commercial function, providing support in early stages of customer price negotiations.
  • Finance lead on cost/price modelling providing insight support and challenge on pricing strategy.
  • Support and challenge the NPD team in bringing products to market.
  • Development of KPIs with clear understanding of business drivers and leavers.
  • Mitigating financial risk and exploiting opportunities.
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
  • Monthly IBP presentation and reporting.
  • PVM and VPC reporting to aid value added activities.
  • Budgeting and forecasting of ingredients margin.
  • NPD tracker analysis and reporting.
  • Development of clear and accurate costing/pricing models ensuring robust finance support to commercial team.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified.
  • Experience of commercial accounting.
  • Experience of commercial costing/pricing models.
  • Experience of BI systems.
  • Strong analytical, data management, problem-solving, and MS Excel skills.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and challenge existing ways of doing things.
