Are you a driven Credit Controller who enjoys building strong customer relationships while keeping the ledger in great shape? We’re looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Northampton, reporting into the Credit Manager. This is a key role focused on robust ledger management, query resolution and proactive cash collection, partnering closely with Customer Service teams.
- Ability to build relationships and influence outcomes
- Highly organised, great at prioritising and hitting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a “do it right” mindset
- Comfortable with accounting systems plus Excel/Word/Outlook
- Solid understanding of credit risk, collections, and managing high-value/complex accounts
- Experience using credit agencies/reports and KPIs to support credit decisions
- High levels of integrity and accountability
