Starting salary for this part time position is £29,184.43 per annum with the opportunity to earn up to £37,198.83 through acquiring additional skills!

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, followed by 2 nights). This position is permanent, working from March to December with January and February off. Salary and benefits are pro-rated and paid monthly over 12 months in equal instalments.
Primary purpose and function of position: Reporting into the Logistics First Line Manager, this shift based role will be part of the multi-skilled team that is responsible for core Logistics tasks and the day to day running of the Warehouse operation, therefore working towards the Magor Dream to be the Best Brewery in a Better World.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Servicing the packaging lines with raw materials and removing finished product, loading and unloading vehicles whilst operating a Warehouse Management System.
- Servicing our customer orders by assembling, loading and unloading vehicles in a safe manner and to the correct standard.
- Ensuring documentation accuracy throughout the different processes and procedures that are in use within Logistics – Prism, DDMS, WMS etc.
- Working within a team environment ensuring all tasks are completed without the requirement for constant supervision, being able to deal with minor issues as they occur.
- Maintaining Safety, 5S and high standards in every task undertaken throughout the department with a strong focus on supporting our Better World targets.
- Constantly following & supporting VPO ways of working with a dedicated focus on maintaining all Departmental and Company KPIs.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:
- Experience in an FMCG Logistics environment
- Good Mathematical background
- Strong level of IT Literacy
- Good communicator with energy and drive
- FLT driving experience (RTITB approved)
- Experience in a team working operation
- WMS Experience preferred
- Strong organizational and decision making skills
- Able to communicate at all levels
- Strong Customer Focus
- Working to targets
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Logistics qualifications
- Computer Literate (EXCEL, WORD)
- Drive for results and sense of ownership
