The Role:

This is an entry-level position. No sales experience is required, but a deep passion for our brands and a desire to work with people are preferred. The role involves working alongside Regional Wholesalers and Pub Company Partners, focusing on account management to maximize existing relationships and develop new accounts.

A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder. Responsibilities include selling, supporting, monitoring, and retaining our premium ABI brands within partner wholesale outlets & Pub Companies, with an emphasis on commercial acumen and KPI results, aligned with our ten key principles.

This is a field-based role covering Cardiff (Postcode areas P10, SA, CF, NP, HR, LD). A current UK Driving License is required. Applications are only accepted from candidates located within these postcodes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Growing distribution, volume, profitability, and brand experience within On-Trade accounts.
  2. Owning an aligned territory to grow share, volume, and results.
  3. Retaining & growing AB InBev share within Regional Wholesale Partners and Pub Companies.
  4. Developing knowledge of brewing processes, beer types, handling, tasting, and serving to enhance consumer and customer experience.
  5. Managing annual customer planning, promotional evaluation, and customer sell-back.
  6. Territory spend and budget management.
  7. Building strong relationships with Sales Managers, key customers, and consumer groups.
  8. Executing call cycles and administrative duties.
  9. Maintaining product knowledge within the category.
  10. Networking with other sales professionals within AB InBev.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about Beer and the Food Industry; hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building and follow-up skills.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, driven, ambitious, and resilient.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
