Primary purpose and function of position:
This role supports the Quality Management team in meeting site KPIs and project goals while ensuring strict food/feed safety and legal compliance. You will lead technical areas like microbiology, audit programs, and new innovation/improvement projects. As a core team member, you will cover key routines for QA Team Leaders when required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Tasks:
- Support system to ensure compliance with EHS, Food/Feed Integrity, GMP, Food Safety (HACCP), Product Integrity, Legality, Quality Standards.
- Participate in third party audits by external bodies for FEMAS & BRC and internal VPO audit.
- Lead quality innovation/improvement projects from a Quality point of view.
- Act as SPOC for Brewing and Packaging Quality, Food/Feed Safety, Micro and Phys-Chem
- Active member of the HACCP and Internal audit team.
- Lead PDCAs for improvement QC KPIs i.e. Micro, Consumer complaints, Sensory, Phys-Chem.
- Effective Trainer.
- Write, manage, and train SOPs for area of expertise
