The Regional Ops Manager will lead a regional team of technicians to deliver operationally viable & cost-effective service levels for the installation and maintenance of dispense systems in the on trade. You will oversee team performance, training, and resource planning across a set region, ensuring service levels meet company and customer expectations. The role focuses on building a strong customer service culture and supporting sales and marketing initiatives, including new product launches and technical standards.
The Role:
- Lead and manage a high performing technical team, including recruitment, engagement, development, and performance management
- Oversee draught beer delivery, installations, and service calls across ~15 key customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, service partners, and internal teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing)
- Manage budgets, stock, asset control, and service provider spend
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, SLAs, and implement improvements to drive customer satisfaction
- Plan and lead daily operations, events, temporary/mobile bars, and out of hours work
- Ensure compliance with legal, health & safety, and regulatory standards, including Gas Pressure Systems records
- Conduct performance reviews, monthly reporting, and senior management meetings to drive continuous improvement
- Handle HR matters, complaints, and support employee wellbeing; contribute to apprenticeship programs
- Deliver sales and marketing initiatives to achieve budgeted sales and market share
- Represent the business on key industry bodies and the Brand Dispense Association Admin Committee
- Handle general administrative duties (rotas, expenses, accesses)
- Participate in “Days in Trade” activities
Who we’re looking for:
- Educated to degree standard is desirable
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a customer technical/service environment
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a people leadership role
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a sales/supplier contract management role
- High numeracy and verbal reasoning skills
- Well-developed IT skill set across all areas of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to forge strong relationships both internally & externally
- Effective performer in cross functional multi-disciplined teams
- Desirable: Track record in people development, Keen interest in personal development, Technical expertise
