This exciting role involves working alongside Regional Wholesalers and our Pub Company Partners, focusing on account management to maximize existing relationships, whilst also putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts across South Wales & Gloucestershire. A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder with a passion for excellent product execution, who can sell with commercial acumen, be accountable for KPI delivery, and support & maintain ABI brands with our wholesalers & pub company partners. This role is field-based covering South Wales & Gloucestershire, so a current UK Driving License is required.
The role:
- Responsible for growing distribution, volume, profitability and brand experience within a portfolio of On-Trade accounts
- Autonomy to own aligned territory with the opportunity to leave a legacy by growing share, volume and commercial results.
- Retain & Grow AB InBev share/sales within aligned Regional & National Wholesale Partners.
- Retain & Grow AB InBev share/ sales within aligned Pub Companies.
- Develop a deep knowledge base related to brewing process, beer types and styles, handling, tasting, serving in order to develop our brands, and enhance consumer and customer experience & outlet brand execution
- Ownership of annual individual customer planning & promotional evaluation
- Territory spend and budget management
- Build strong business relationships with Regional Sales Managers, key customers and consumer groups
- Execution of call cycle and administrative duties (routine management)
- Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of products within the category
- Build and evolve a comprehensive network with other sales professionals in the wider AB InBev business
Who we’re looking for:
- Passion for Beer and Food Industry – experience in the hospitality industry (e.g. bar work, waiter/waitress experience) is preferred
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical skills with strong business acumen
- Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills
- Very enthusiastic & motivated to make a difference
- Driven, ambitious and resilient
- Computer proficiency and aptitude, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexible with irregular working hours to be present during key period on premise (including some evenings and weekends)
