The Role
This role will be focused on both account management to maximise existing relationships, while putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts.
A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell from our premium portfolio.
This is a field‑based role, so a current UK Driving License is required.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Build relationships within the independent free trade sector to drive sustainable growth for our customers and Budweiser Brewing Group brands.
- Mix account management for existing relationships with new business development.
- Build a strong network of working relationships across various stakeholders to achieve volume and revenue targets with a long‑term strategy in place for your territory.
- Implement trade activations that drive value for customers and increase volume, while ensuring perfect brand execution and the best consumer experiences.
- Differentiate brands through innovative support that adds value to customers.
- Take account P&L responsibility, track performance versus investments, and present quarterly reviews for key accounts.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience, with a commitment to career development.
- Exceptional local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in the beer or similar industry.
- Demonstrates ownership, takes personal responsibility for results, and leads by example.
- Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Preference for previous sales experience.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
- Proficient in negotiation, objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
- Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
- Time and workload management skills to optimise effectiveness and efficiency.
- On‑trade and premium brand experience is desirable.
