Their range of services covers parts supply, repair, overhaul, engineering consultancy, and new system design and installation. With UK-designed and manufactured products and a localised supply chain, AB is RISQS registered and assured for all sander and hose-related activities.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chesterfield as a Sales Administrator. A Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team and ensuring efficient and effective communication between the sales department and other departments within the organisation. They play a vital role in ensuring that sales targets are achieved and customers\โ€™ needs are met.

Working hours- 8am-4pm Monday-Friday with the possibility of 6am-2pm on a Friday if better suited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including order placement, preparing sales reports, maintaining sales records, and responding to customer queries
  • Coordinate and schedule order book meetings and appointments, including preparing meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organisation to ensure that all customer needs are met, including coordinating with the operations, engineering and quality teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and presentations
  • Ensure that all sales documentation is accurate and up to date, including managing the sales database
  • Provide support for sales events, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of sales training programs

Key Requirements

  • GCSE\โ€™s in Maths & English or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales administration role, preferably within a manufacturing background
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in Sage 200 is a bonus, but not a requirement.
