Contract & Shift Details: Maternity Cover – 12 months, Monday – Friday – 08:00 – 16:30

Are you ready to take on a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in a large innovative nutritional business? Do you have experience working in a production, manufacturing, or food environment and are detail-oriented? If the answer is YES to the above, we want to hear from you!

As a Quality Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our team, working closely with production and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Role Objectives:

  • Analysis and release of incoming raw materials by Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR).
  • Conduct thorough analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods samples.
  • Support the quality team in meeting business goals and addressing quality issues.
  • Maintain data integrity and provide supplier feedback on raw material performance.
  • Prepare samples for external analysis and promptly report out-of-spec results.
  • Conduct equipment calibrations and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Assist in internal audits and support operations in addressing non-conformances.

About You:

  • Experience in a similar role within a production, manufacturing, or food environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to perform well within a multi-functional team.
  • Precise and inclined towards finding better solutions.

Additional Information:

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel between our Fradley and Rugeley sites.
