Location: Cupar, Fife, Scotland

Contract / Shift Pattern: Permanent, Onsite – Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our feed mill meets the highest standards in compliance, quality, and safety.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Set and maintain site hygiene standards through training and layered auditing.
  • Conduct environmental swabbing and follow up on hygiene sampling and biosecurity protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory bodies (UFAS/VMD).
  • Support site-wide health, safety, and environmental improvements.
  • Conduct audits on first aid, spill response, and fire safety.
  • Perform dwell & lethality tests, material dispersion, and medicinal residue testing.
  • Support the maintenance of the CMMS (Engineering Maintenance System) to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Implement regular site audits and compliance checks, ensuring action plans are in place.
  • Monitor KPIs related to hygiene, quality, and biosecurity, reporting key insights to stakeholders.
  • Order and manage consumables across all departments.
  • Conduct and control visitor inductions, ensuring all compliance measures are met.

  • Experience in a quality, hygiene, or compliance role within feed milling, food production, or an agricultural environment.
  • Knowledge of feed safety regulations, including HACCP, UFAS, and biosecurity requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits and implementing compliance protocols.
  • Analytical skills for identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficient organisational and time management skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders across the business.
