The Role & Key Responsibilities
Are you eager to kick‑start your career with an innovative Animal Nutrition company? Premier Nutrition is seeking a Quality Apprentice to join our dynamic team based in Rugeley, Staffordshire.
In this exciting 18‑month to 2‑year apprenticeship you will delve into every facet of our operations. From mastering continuous improvement tools like root cause analysis and lean methodologies to honing your data analysis skills, this apprenticeship offers a comprehensive 360‑degree view of quality management. Get ready for hands‑on experience in our factory and laboratories, with the opportunity to explore our various UK sites.
As a Quality Apprentice, you will play a vital role in our quality provision, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as nutritionists, production teams, and certification bodies. You will tackle challenges head‑on, contributing to problem‑solving and performance enhancement initiatives.
Upon completion you will earn a Level 4 quality practitioner certification, opening doors to diverse opportunities within the AB Agri group.

Area you will cover
- Conducting internal audits against standards like UFAS and FSSC 22000
- Overseeing pest control activities and ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Support teams with complaint and internal failures investigations
- Analysing incoming raw material using NIR
- Handling data systems and reporting
- Preparing samples for external analysis
- Upholding feed safety standards
